Conference delegates who wish to submit an abstract for oral or poster presentation should submit the abstract using the template attached to the registration form. A preference for a conference theme and for oral or poster presentation is required. A maximum of two contributions per conference participant is allowed only one of which can be an oral presentation. The decision of acceptance as oral or poster presentation is made by the organization committee. The abstracts have to be written in English and will be published in the abstract volume distributed at the conference. The authors are requested to ensure that spelling and grammar are correct. Figures and tables are allowed as long as they fit the abstract template. The submission of an abstract carries with it the obligation to actually present the contribution at the conference (in case of oral presentation) and to be registered (in case of poster presentation).

A special issue of the “European Journal of Mineralogy” containing results presented at EMPG-XIII in a more extended form is planned. More information on this special issue will be provided to the conference delegates during the conference.

IMPORTANT:
The theme number and type of presentation (poster or oral) MUST appear in the filename of the abstract: EMPGXIII_name_theme number_type of presentation.doc (e.g. EMPGXIII_smith_7_oral.doc).
For multiple abstracts in one theme use a, b (e.g. EMPGXIII_smith_7a.doc)
